Testimonials:

As you might know, my mother (Helen Poandl) will be celebrating her 100th birthday on April 15. I think that living to 100 is certainly a testimonial to the wonderful care that she has been given at the New Jersey Eastern Star Home. Please thank your staff on my families behalf. Mom has been a resident at NJESH for over 8 years and we have witnessed the great care she has been given over the years.

Eastern Star Home is a wonderful rehab. We found all employees were kind, reassuring, pleasant, and very competent in their job! I was able to eat one meal a day with my husband, the service was top notch, the food is excellent, the chef came to check on me periodically to make sure everything was ok. Thanks for wonderful care!

To Ella and the wonderful, loving, caring staff who took such great care of me,

I know I was difficult the first week. I was there but no one knows the pain you are enduring unless they have the same pain. I am doing great with no pain most of the time. Thank you all!

Crew of Physical and Occupational Therapy,

Your kindness means the world to me and I will never forget how you helped me and were so loving and caring. Eastern Star was my 1st choice from what I heard and I am glad I chose it! I am doing very, very well with all, thanks to all of you!

Hi to all my friends in Physical Therapy,

Words can never express how you have helped me through this mess that I found myself in. First, you got me back to a place where I could handle my body one one foot and leg. But I was prepared in every way at home. In fact, both the Visiting Nurse PT and OT ladies put me on hold until I am fully weight bearing because everything that they were supposed to help with, I already knew how to do. The credit goes to you folks. One week from today, I see the doctor and hopefully he will allow me to start putting weight on my leg. The mound is still an issue, but health.

I did so badly want to be home, but all of you were so kind to me that my three weeks at Eastern Star went by quickly. I miss all of you so much.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, for everything you did for me.

God bless you,

Gerry

"Eastern Star turned my moms’ life around, she came from the hospital in a very weak and sedentary state to your facility. The staff which consisted of nurses and special therapists brought mom back to where she was before she became ill and then some. Your staff along with their incredible skills, were so compassionate, understanding and caring that mom is thriving now. My mom had her wish fulfilled to be back in her own home, thank you Eastern Star for making her wish come true! I constantly recommend your place and working at an assisted living makes it so easy to get the word out. We need more places like Eastern Star."
